EAGLE 2009 - BEST PATROL

So it wasn't the last time i was going to post on this blog. This time, it is to all those in Eagle 2009 who have helped us achieve this award. I really think it's not the effort of me alone that we can hold this award this year. First, Munglin has been always supporting and Brandon also providing the fun and stuff that we need to push through hard times. The backbone of the patrol, the secondary 2s are also always there to help, to provide whatever we need. The sec ones had been the ones who did not know anything about 01 and everything scouting at first, but in the end they are seniors and people who can impart skills to others.

Hi all, this will most probably be the last post of 2009. The year has ended and hopefully you guys felt that it was a good year. We have achieved commendable results, getting second at ac, etc etc. Also, I would like to congratulate the people in our patrol who are postholders next year.

Night Hike

Hi guys,

These are the details for the pioneering + night hike activity on Saturday:
- 5th to 6th September
- Reporting time: 8am on the 5th (Saturday)
- Dismissal time: 8.30am on the 6th (Sunday)
- Reporting venue: Braddell Westlake (IMPT)
- Dismissal: Junior Block Atrium
- Reporting attire: PE

Hi eagle. It's been one week since AC. Hope those sunburns are coming off now =)

But now, we have to do patrol logs. For the sec 1s who don't know (and for GABRIEL KOK who conveniently didn't submit his plogs last year), patrol logs are log that are used to record activities that happened in the scouting year. You may have seen the whole volumes of patrol logs in the den before the renovation, and that is supposed to be the outcome of a compilation of all these small logs. So to create these logs, everyone has to write a bit for the patrol.

Ok i'll start off the list with something for everyone to do.

Hi guys, dont worry the pictures will be up soon.

Btw, we are supposed to do patrol logs. Patrol logs if you don't know are "logs" where you record what you did in an act. The tone is normally light hearted and "chill" as you convey your thoughts.

Thus, Munglin and I would be giving out some activities to you guys to do your logs. The average length is about 1ooo words for each act. Anyway, I would like 2 sec one to go with us for the campfire on Friday! It would be fun!

Hi guys, yeah I would be late for tmr's act for a little bit.

Btw, AC is coming up! Trust me, you will love AC. It's a time of the year in the midst of some damn long holiday that makes you want to go back to school and it is damn fun! But, in the midst of planning and stuff, please try not to post up too much of our designs or our cooking stuff here. This blog is public, meaning others can come and just kop our design.

Oh yes, tmr is not the neighbourhood run, it is AC prep. I promise you guys it would be more meaningful. Yes, let's work hard for our test AND AC =)

13/5 act!

Hi eagle. Just in case you didn't know, there is no act on Monday but act on Wednesday.

So act on Wednesday should be from 3:30 to 6:30 or a bit later. It would be AC prep again.

EDIT: Act is Neighbourhood Run. Although i'm not sure what it is... but it should be fun.
(Hmm what does "fun" mean?)

And if you want to buy the group shirt bring $8 after act. It's up to you if you want to buy it, but it's encouraged.

And Rui Liang has RLP (group 1) briefing so he would probably be late. So tell just tell me if you're late or something.

Gabriel for the table can you make it such that all sides have a seat? Then one side can be joined to the cooking thing or something. I dunno if it works but it seems okay.

And AC has been moved to school "because of swine flu". Trust me its a much better place. It happened in 2007 also, which was much more fun that last year's.

And btw tuesday's assembly is house meeting. I saw the schedule.

Now sec 3 life has a LOT of work. Be thankful that you're still sec 1/2 and enjoy your lives. Because its much more fun. Trust me.

Patrol fun?

Hey guys, sorry for that boring Patrol Fun.

It was needed because some patrols like Kestrel have their PL plan everything for them. I feel that if you guys were involved in the planning it would be much more enriching. So, no pain no gain, I hope that if we put in effort, we can do well for AC and bond as a patrol too. =)

Also, PLEASE FREE UP your Saturdays (this and next) because there might be act.

HEY EAGLE! I haven't posted for quite a long time. Hope you rested! I couldn't rest last wed because i had match support... sit and watch swimming. =(

AC is in 1 month. Not a lot of time to prepare... so tmr is the first prep. We're brainstorming. Please come down! We need to spam ideas.

Oh and eagle has been owning for gateway for the last 4/5 years. Always getting first for gateway! And me and rl are currently coming up with some insane ideas... =X
